Indication for use

Menosan Himalaya is beneficial for women experiencing both natural and surgical menopause. It improves overall well-being during menopause.

Dosage and Usage Instructions:

Menosan should be taken 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, with a dosage of 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening. The recommended course of treatment is 12-18 months. The optimal time for taking the tablet is between 3 PM and 5 PM.

Ashoka (Saraca indica) – This herb primarily supports the female reproductive system and is known as a tonic for women. It has haemostatic, blood purifying, anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, antispasmodic, diuretic, analgesic, and antidote properties. It helps maintain the health of the female reproductive system and balances Pitta and Kapha doshas. Ashoka is effectively used in Ayurveda to treat various menstrual disorders, particularly heavy bleeding during menstruation, cramps, uterine spasms, abdominal pain, hormonal imbalance, and various female disorders. It strengthens the uterine muscles, stimulates ovarian follicles, alleviates excessive bleeding, and relieves menopause symptoms. It also helps with other types of bleeding (e.g., urethral, internal, bleeding hemorrhoids), inflammation, and swelling.

Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) – Considered the best tonic for the female reproductive system, Shatavari treats many related ailments, even serious ones. The saponins in Shatavari are similar to the body’s own hormones, providing numerous health benefits. This herb supports lactation, rejuvenates, normalizes hormone levels and menstrual cycles, relieves spasms, regulates the digestive system, and aids in conception. Shatavari contains active substances such as phytosterols (which normalize hormonal and reproductive systems), saponins (plant analogues of hormones), asparagine (which improves heart and blood vessel function), and bioflavonoids (natural antioxidants). It fights herpes, aids in digestive disorders, and restores health after surgery.

Kukkutandatvak Bhasma (Egg Shell) – This medical preparation is made from eggshell, processed with herbs. It is a rich source of calcium that helps increase bone density. It is effective in treating arthritis, osteoporosis, and helps women with leucorrhea.

Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) – This plant is used in Indian medicine as a powerful herbal heart tonic and aphrodisiac, belonging to the rasayanas (elixirs of youth and body restoration). It positively affects the cardiovascular system, improving its function. Arjuna has strong antioxidant effects on the cardiovascular system, effectively normalizes cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood, supports normal blood pressure, and strengthens cell membranes, preventing heart malfunction. The herb normalizes platelet function, promotes heart muscle health, and maintains a regular heart rhythm. Cotton Tree (Bombax malabaricum) – This plant has astringent and cooling properties. Additionally, it possesses haemostatic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra) – Known for its anti-allergic properties, Yashtimadhu is an aphrodisiac that pacifies all doshas. It is used as an anti-inflammatory and calming agent, purifies the blood, fights skin diseases, nourishes the nervous system, protects the heart, and alleviates headaches.

Yellow Jasmine (Chlorophytum tuberosum) – A rare medicinal plant, it promotes health and longevity, acts as an aphrodisiac, and is beneficial in treating diabetes, inflammation, and enhancing immunity. Historically, it has been used as a physical and sexual tonic.
