General Recommendations:
For adults and adolescents over 12 years old: take 1-2 tablets 5 minutes before meals 3 times a day. Can be taken as a rasayana (rejuvenating remedy) with honey and clarified butter.
For children aged 4 to 7 years: take 1/3 tablet 2-3 times a day.
For children aged 8 to 11 years: take 1/2 tablet 3 times a day.
The minimum course of preventive intake is 50 days, and no break is required after the course.
The treatment course lasts 3-5 months.
Ayurvedic medicine recommends that everyone over the age of 25-30 take Triphala at least twice a day during the period from full moon to new moon. This will help cleanse the body of the inevitable age-related accumulation of toxins in various organs and tissues.
Triphala is harmless, but if the body is heavily burdened with toxins, a high dose can cause a strong reaction: accumulated toxins will start to be released faster than the weakened body can process them. Therefore, if discomfort or pain is experienced while taking Triphala, the dose should be halved for one to two weeks.
