Sinhanad Guggulu Unjha is an effective Ayurvedic remedy for musculoskeletal issues, particularly joint diseases. Ayurvedic tradition views rheumatism as the body’s reaction to excess toxins manifesting as inflammation. The combination of Triphala and beaver fat in Sinhanad Guggulu provides excellent detoxifying effects, aiding in the removal of toxins from the blood and joints.
In Ayurvedic medicine, this product is also used for gastrointestinal disorders. Sinhanad Guggulu helps alleviate asthma and is effective against elephantiasis, dropsy, and hernias.
Additionally, the remedy has anti-inflammatory properties, reducing joint swelling and pain. The combination of ingredients supports body recovery and improves digestion, thereby decreasing further toxin formation and accumulation, countering rheumatism.
Traditionally, Sinhanad Guggulu is also used to treat various skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It is used as an adjunct in the treatment of acute respiratory infections and helps balance Pitta and Vata doshas.

Active Ingredients:
- Gandhaka (Sulphurium): Purified sulfur used in Ayurvedic medicine for treating skin diseases with itching. It alleviates symptoms of chronic fever, treats genitourinary and digestive disorders, enhances nutrient absorption, treats oligospermia, rejuvenates, improves skin tone and elasticity, and boosts immunity.
- Triphala: An ancient formula composed of three fruits: Amalaki, Haritaki, and Bibhitaki. It effectively cleanses all organs and systems of waste and toxins, boosts immune function, and improves overall well-being. It reduces gastrointestinal issues, enhances skin health, alleviates joint pain, accelerates healing of wounds and abrasions, and increases energy and productivity. It also acts as an enterosorbent.
- Guggul (Commiphora mukul): Guggul resin from the balm tree is widely used in Ayurvedic formulations. In this preparation, it enhances and combines the qualities of all components. The resin has potent cleansing properties, normalises kidney function, helps remove stones and sand from the kidneys, and has strong absorbing action.
- Castor Oil (Ricinus communis): Known for its effective bowel cleansing properties, castor oil is considered one of the best methods for thorough bowel cleansing and health improvement. Ayurveda refers to castor oil as the “lion among oils.” Indian castor oil induces a strong laxative effect and has the highest cleansing ability. It irritates the intestinal villi, causing them to contract and “shake out” deposits between the villi, cleansing both the villi and the intestinal walls, which play a crucial role in nutrient, vitamin, and mineral absorption.
