Triphala is harmless, but in cases of severe toxicity, a high dose may cause a strong reaction as accumulated toxins are released faster than the weakened body can process. In such cases, if discomfort or pain is experienced during the intake of Triphala, it is advised to halve the dose for one to two weeks.
Active Ingredients:
Amla (Emblica officinalis): Helps normalise blood glucose levels and supports heart health. In 100 g of this fruit’s pulp, there is 30 times more vitamin C than in an orange. It strengthens teeth and bones, promotes hair growth, improves digestion, boosts metabolism, and enhances immunity. Amla aids in synthesising haemoglobin and detoxifies the liver and other internal organs. The fruit has rejuvenating properties, neutralising and eliminating heavy metals and free radicals.
Haritaki (Terminalia chebula): Known as a rejuvenating herb. It slows down greying of hair and accelerates its growth, positively impacting memory and vision. Haritaki treats lung and digestive system diseases, acts as a mild laxative, boosts immunity, and normalises digestion. It helps eliminate parasites and restores normal gut flora.
Bibhitaki (Terminalia belerica): A rejuvenating plant with toning, anthelmintic, and laxative properties. It aids in a wide range of ailments and helps balance high Vata dosha. Bibhitaki facilitates the expulsion of stones from the digestive tract and positively influences all bodily functions.
